Study: Consumers Delete Cookies at Surprising Rate

According to this study, 40% of the consumers delete their cookies. This is suprisingly high for me.

People seem to do this because of ‘privacy issues’, however, I wonder how many people realize that they need to relogin on their favorite websites too when deleting these cookies. The risks of cookies are overhyped, I for one never delete them. It really screws up your surfing experience when you delete them that often…
