Know It Or Blow It

As I wrote before, IE is having problems with gzipped content. I notified them quite some time ago, and every now and then pinged them about it in the blog. Today, when reading the IE7 blog, there was a new article about IE7 improvements in content caching.

Ofcourse, I asked them once more if the gzip-bug was fixed. Well, to my suprise I got a positive reply!

This will finally allow for sending the “HTTP/1.0 304″-response on gzipped pages to IE users as well, so: reduced serverload, less traffic out! w00t w00t!
