How do I manage to pick all these gadgets that get discontinued ? Last year, I got a brand new Smart Roadster, only to find out 4 weeks later that production got cancelled. Today I found out that Sony discontinues the production of the AIBO.

 I also have a BlackBerry, so given my track record, I think that the blackout due to the pattent-issues will also happen…

Just received the Time Bandits DVD. Not that it’s such a great movie, but it completes my Terry Gilliam Criterion Collection, so I can finally order the Paul Champagne’s Case for these movies.

This addiction is getting out of control…

I’m in the market for buying a big LCD TV. Being from Einhoven, I ofcourse digg the Philips brand

Philips just announced last week at the CES 2006 the new Ambilight Full Surround, so it seems I just have to wait a big longer for my new TV, also because according to other sources, “Philips will release new PF9831-series LCD screens between May and July. These will have ClearLCD™ [featuring Aptura, JPD] for a far higher contrast ratio, Pixel Plus 3HD technology and full surround ambilight.“.

Other sources mention August as a launch date. So I probably won’t be able to watch the World Cup Soccer on HD TV this year
