Today is the start of the Gumball 3000 rally 2006. This year, they’ll be driving through Europe, Asia and the US, shipping the cars by plane. It’s estimated that this years costs’ are about USD 100.000, so better start saving for next years rally!

In an email to me Philips Consumer Care confirmed the launch of the 42 PF9831 in the Netherlands around the end of this month!

Seems I can start preparing my living room and create some space.
No word about the 32PF9831 or 37PF9831 yet though.

According to IT-Times (german), Philips has announced that they will be starting delivery of the PF9831 range this month!
Just in time for the Fifa World Cup it seems, though not sure if it’s launched outside Germany as well…

Now I just hope that the stores won’t be short on stock, as the previous models where hard to get sometimes.
